Just in case you didn't realize that I was gone, I have moved to alenia_dalime and for effect am also from here calling on my LA friends that I won't see for six months unless I see today or tomorrow. So yeah, comment and hang out with me. Or otherwise get in contact with me.

SWITCH! [Jul. 10th, 2004|11:13 pm]

I know I kinda never use this or anything, but still I decided to lay this little name of mine to rest and instead go with my more personal alias, so I am slowly switching over to alenia_dalime who as of this moment has no friends (poor her) or is friends of no one because between switching over things on my computer for college and switching over lj things there are many long and tedious tasks ahead. Also, for AIM I am now going to use aleniadalime more often. Thank you all.

Months maybe since I posted something more than 2 words long [Jul. 6th, 2004|11:16 pm]

Got back home yesterday, I talked to this 20 something guy when waiting for the plane, he was kinda cute and all, couldn't really tell if he was flirting with me or anything or what age he thought I was. Strangely enough, I still feel really young. Like, i'm still a kid, can't do anything on my own yet. There were so many young 20 somethigns on my flight all in little groups touring Europe together. Like roughing it in Europe, sleeping in airports and getting drunk. Whistfull, still can't get away from Grandma or an aunt. I do love them all though. OH GOD, I can't tell you what a jerk my Grandma's BF is. I finally met him (didn't want to, apprehensive) and he spent the whole time telling me how my grandma's family were all nymphos. WTF? I didn't want to hear it. He was really freaky, spoke a bit like Brando in Godfather (may he rest in peace) and he believes that women should wear skirts. Like really believes it. He has this disgusting book where he took pics of women's asses when they were wearing trousers to prove that they should wear skirts. *shudders*
Anywhoo, so all in all I had a good time (was in France and England, my cousins rawk! I saw 4 of them (nearly 11, 9, 1, and 3) and they were all super cool. Took the 11 and 9 year olds (girls) to see shrek for a birthday presie (between the two birthdays) which was fun. The audience was not as great, I think the movie is geared towards us Angelenos. There was a big laugh at the Prince part though. All in all, good times.
Saw Spiderman 2 with the 'rents tonight. I enjoyed it. Hooray for Chloe! I cheered when I saw her. You were great! Btw, makes me think, sorry I've been ignoring a lot of people, have too many to see, too much to do etc. Are Fridays still on at all? I'm super jet lagged, but it's all good. Been forcing myself awake. Oh, funny thing, woke up at 8:25 this morning and I halucinated that the clock read 3:25 so I lept out of bed embarassed. That's a time when you want analog. Back to the movie. Fun, xcept dad was anoying cause he talks too much in the middle of the movie commenting on things like "ooh, this will happen next!" He's so annoying sometimes. I can't even really stand it at home and when he talks in the theatre it's even worse. We're getting along better now, god my life has changed since all my ranting posts. I mean, good. So, we left the movie and then I saw Laura S., Ollie, Laura J. and Lilly K. coming in to see Farenheight 911! wow, flashbacks. I mean, even if you think you won't ever see these people again they come creeping back to you. That was cool.
I'm pretty much free the rest of the summer. So, if anyone wants to do anything that would be cool. Catch up, etc.
I have no idea why I never know how to end this thing, same with diaries. Goodbye!

how in the world is one supposed to get to sleep at sunrise? it doesn't seem possible. Right now I'm really really wide awake, no idea why. I'm wondering, if I go into school later today, do I have to sign in as an alum? that woudl be funny.

surreal.

I really have no idea which parts of my song are hard, because I know almost the whole thing and parts that I thought were easy (because I like the way they sound and know how they sound) don't seem to work. It's strange

contrary to popular belief it is really hard to write a song that is easy to sing and within everyone's range if you write an original song. Jenny seemed to have the same thing happen (low, low notes and high, high notes.)

Oh well, I hope it works out by the concert.

Good job Julia and Joanna! you guys did well today.

=)
sorry I'm evil.

A taste of summer-lemonade [May. 3rd, 2004|02:51 pm]
d
4 sweet lemons
1 slightly overripe freshly picked strawberry
1 kumquat
1 to 1 and a half spoonfulls of sugar
mint
ice

squeeze the lemons into a glass then strain it into a blender, cut the kumquat in half and take out whatever seeds you can find, put that in the blender with the lemon juice, add the strawberry and the sugar, blend

crush some ice and put it into a glass, pour the juice over the ice (the ice should just be floating in the juice)

add mint and enjoy

(slightly sour but just what I needed right now.)
